Last month we launched a professional networking site called Schmoozii (http://www.schmoozii.com).

The site is focused on Marketing & Sales, Accounting & Finance, and Small Business & Start ups. If you are a professional in one of those areas, I'd like to invite you to visit our site. We have articles and blogs from experts, engaging discussions, jobs, groups, and networking for these 3 professions.

Come out and join us in our new launch. Hope to see you there.

So who wants to move to the Westside with me?

Anybody want to buy a house and begin the process? I think that before we want to start an ecovillage over there, we should already be living over there ourselves (at least a faction of us) to get things rolling, possibly work on setting up a food coop and credit union (sisters of the Kensington co-op and cooperative credit unions). You know, start to make it happen basically. I am thinking two possible options:

1) buy up one of the "five sisters" - which are five houses on Park Ave (right near where our warehouse community center location will be) and use that as our mini co-housing Westside establishment springboard

2) buy a house in the near west side neighborhood, which is right where we want our ecovillage to be, say on Gifford Street, and use that as our mini co-housing Westside establishment springboard

Anybody interested in making the move with me?
